zerohash Makes Open USD (OUSD) Live for All Partners Across Its Products

zerohash, an onchain infrastructure provider, has made Open USD (OUSD) live for every partner it powers across all of its products, the company announced on 27 October 2026. OUSD is supported on Base, Ethereum, Solana and Tempo.
zerohash says the partners it powers include Marqeta and Visa Direct. The release does not say whether those or any other named partners have turned OUSD on for their own customers, and it gives no volumes.
A distribution layer for OUSD
OUSD is the dollar stablecoin introduced by Open Standard. It went live across Stripe's stablecoin products on 30 September 2026, and Open Standard's integration page identifies Bridge Building Inc. as the issuer. zerohash's integration adds another distribution route: businesses already connected to zerohash can enable OUSD through their existing integration rather than building new infrastructure.
According to the release, zerohash partners can now:
- embed OUSD in treasury, account funding, payouts and pay-ins;
- use zerohash's interoperability layer to move between OUSD and more than 15 stablecoins across about 25 chains.
"We integrated OUSD because it's a stablecoin built for payments by the networks that already move the world's money," said Mark Daly, chief business officer at zerohash.
Availability limits
zerohash's disclosures say its services may not be available in all jurisdictions and that support for OUSD may be subject to regulatory approval in some, including New York. zerohash accounts are not covered by FDIC or SIPC protections. zerohash LLC is licensed as a money transmitter (NMLS ID 1699379), and zerohash LLC and zerohash liquidity services LLC hold New York virtual currency licences.
What it means for OUSD
A new stablecoin's main hurdle is reach: being accepted and convertible wherever businesses already move money. Infrastructure providers such as zerohash sit behind many fintech and payments brands at once, so a single integration can expose OUSD to many end platforms. The interoperability layer matters as much as the listing, because it lets a partner accept or pay out OUSD while still settling in the stablecoin or chain it already uses.
Availability is not adoption. The real test is how many zerohash partners make OUSD a default or offered option for their own users, which the announcement does not yet show.
