DriveWealth, a brokerage-as-a-service platform, announced on October 14, 2026 a partnership with Ripple covering stablecoin settlement, payments, custody and equity financing across its investing infrastructure.
DriveWealth is integrating Ripple's stablecoin infrastructure to support settlement in Europe, with plans to expand to the U.S. The integration will use Ripple's RLUSD stablecoin on the XRP Ledger, alongside Ripple's mint and burn capabilities.
The four workstreams
- Stablecoin settlement: RLUSD on the XRP Ledger, Europe first, U.S. planned.
- Payments: integrating Ripple Payments for cross-border acceptance of funds from DriveWealth's global partners.
- Custody: working with Ripple on digital asset custody in Europe, with plans for additional markets over time.
- Equity financing: DriveWealth and Ripple Prime are exploring opportunities through Ripple Prime's Delta One business. This is exploratory, not an agreed product.
The funding mismatch
The companies frame the deal around timing: U.S. equities settle on a T+1 basis, while cross-border dollar transfers can take longer. DriveWealth says clients will be able to fund and manage collateral accounts with stablecoins that convert to cash in near real time instead of waiting on a bank wire.
"We've already enabled 24/5 trading; now we need the funding to match," said DriveWealth CEO Naureen Hassan.
DriveWealth says it powers investing for more than 100 partners globally. The release gave no live date for the European settlement integration.
